For art class we had to work with fabrics creating volume on a canvas. This is what I did, obviously Phantom-related XD
I'm not so fond of mixed media I have to admit - I'd have preferred to paint everything. It was impossible to create small details with the fabric (see the gloves >>). Besides, this was also quite an experiment as regards perspective.
All in all, I'm anything but satisfied with the outcome of this, but we had a tight deadline.
I used air-drying clay for the mask and glue to attach most of the fabric. The golden cords and decorations show a metallic shine.
The play staged is actually supposed to be Faust, paying homage to the original story, and perhaps you might recognize a person or two in the top right corner.
