( ^ o ^ ) Ohohoho! It has been quite a while hasn't it? I seem to be the king of long drawn out absences and sudden appearances.Er...anyway, this lovely is a remake of something I drew...a long long time ago. Somehow the nostalgia of the picture has not lessened over the years and so here it is revitalized. It's not on my posted list of to-be-finished, but it was in the pile of things on my desk that I have started. That was my new years resolution by the way, finish my unfinished works. I'm on a campaign if you will.
About the picture itself: This was done on paper too big for my scanner, and short of chopping it in half/putting it back together in PS, this was the best outcome. I'm not entirely sure I'm happy with the scan, but that's to be expected seeing as I'm working with a new scanner and all. Also, this is the first piece I've done in copic markers ever! AND it was finished in a couple of days! For those of you who know me, that is a hallmark moment.
As for color, please keep in mind that I was too impatient to wait for the rest of my markers to arrive....
So I did not have the selection in shades that I do now. I think it was 8 primary colors and 8 skin tones.....Anyway thanks so much for taking a gander and any comments given!

Still, this is absolutely amazing, I vaguely recall the old drawing on top of it and remember how gorgeous I felt it was, especially with that shading of yours. Looks great and you've improved quite a bit over the years. XD

Ha! I will have you know that I can do pink in conjunction with other colors AND that I had a limited color selection.
With compliments like that I think I will need to kidnap you and keep you someplace secret, safe, and warm. That way when I'm in need of such I can just pull you out. You could be my very own yes-man...er woman.
