Description
Next up in the Super Hero Best Friend art collage, Green Arrow and Green Lantern (Hal Jordan). For those very few not in the know, the pairing was made famous by a team up title penned by Dennis O'Niel (who had just recently redesigned Green Arrow from his Silver Age version where he was a straight up, arrow themed ripoff of Batman into the bearded version we all know and love). The regimented, authoritarian, and well coifed member of an intergalactic policing agency was paired off with the left wing, loudly liberal, NPR listening archer and together they went on road trips and dealt with racism and social injustices, shaking up the comics industry and making a hell of a pair.

It took a while to get a good pose for the two of them, and I eventually just had to have Ollie protesting something while Hal looked on disapprovingly. I didn't want to date this by tying Olliver to any particular protest or topic, so I just threw together this anti-something logo, and I actually like the look of it. I figured if one had a prop, the other needed on too, and Hal's ring made it easy to make that happen. Riot police gear was about the best I could come up with.
