This is Victor.
His favourite things are black hook-handled umbrellas, prams, and, above all else, string. His obssession with string has led him to stitching his own skin, giving him the appearance of a rag doll. You could easily coax him with a spool of thread or even a child's toy, such as a yo-yo.
He's been known to snatch human children from their cribs, even though he doesn't have a child of his own to make the switch with; often, these children are left in the wrong houses to cause confusion.
He only speaks to mimic the most recent words of others, in a rather unpleasant shriek. He's perfectly literate.
Victor was shunned from the Unseelie Court for his disturbing behaviour (besides, he's downright cheeky).
His home is little more than a large, complicated tangle of taut black string, arranged just so; the smallest tap on the wrong string could strangle an unwanted guest, or bring a few dead branches down. He can spend hours building and rebuilding this tangle, perfectly content with this chore. Nobody knows where he gets his string, for it is sharp enough to cut flesh, strong enough to hold a bridge, and blacker than Victor's hair. Rumour has it that he makes it himself, using his blood and spit; others say that he filched it from the Woodswitch.
Speaking of filching, he did steal that schoolgirl's skirt.
