hey wow it worked! yay it took me a few tries though (even wen da comments say 'it worked right away!" -_- i feel dumbish) it came out good! its perfect for comic hands! usually i draw my characters with there hands behind they're backs or holding something. now if there was only a tutorail for arms....

Well... As a tutorial, it's good, but when it comes to learning drawing a hand from it, it isn't really helpfull.
That's just a basic hand, that you can draw even without those quidelines.
A tutorial for "drawing a real hand" would be better.
That is simply done: This tutorial is edited by the way, that you add more details and few quidelines.
But still, otherwise, it's a pretty good one for a first try at tuts.

Hmm, is this supposed to be "how to draw hands on a computer"? I'm not that good of an artist, and I have been doing a lot of research on these things. Most of what you can see here you can look at your own hand and see, not to mention that it is slightly disproportional. If I was trying to draw with pencil, (Like I said, this looks like a computer thing and I don't draw on computers) I don't think I would use this. If I was making this guide I would say to make the joints bigger than the rest of the finger, or draw it in different positions, and maybe put in a little more detail. When I look at a guide, I want to see something gives good examples, that are easy to follow (this one is, but thatβs all you have going for you), and are atomically correct. Iβm not trying to be harsh, but trying to give some constructive criticism.

Different hand positions would help but for your first one, I'm impressed. I can't draw thumbs going in the right direction so this will help me with thumb directions.
