What program do you use, by chance? Also, what are your usual brush settings? I find that I have a lot of issues with my final product bc of the brush looking too thick or too thin... I can never get a good balance for line work.

Ooh! Sorry for the late replay! For these i use paint tool sai. The canvas size is usually an A6 (just cropped out later on when needed but never re-sized) And i work on these at 100% zoom in as they are quite small designs anyway. The brush setting for lineart is 4px (i can post a screenshot for the settings for both the lineart and paiting brushes i use on sai)
On photoshop is a little different as the canvas i work is larger so brush-setting is usually 7-9 px ^^ (i use a chalk-like brush there for lineart)
And one more little tip i can offer is to not be afraid to make lines "fatter" where things seem to "connect" like feet to belly etc. You can also draw the outline one or two pixels fatter aswell. Gives the drawing "form" some strength ^^

You can use it as a base for your bebes but i think you'll benefit better by drawing it your own
