I donno whats got into me lately. Ive been doing animal paintings and this is the second one (i did a tiger's eye lately, i'll put it up soon
). I just facied trying this picture out and im glad to say it has worked for me. Im working on a wolf at the mo and done a portrait of 2 cats for a naighbour as a chear up prezzie and now ive got a request from her son to paint his 2 gorgous dogs (the ones with the wrinkles, u know the one in the advert. I cant remember the name of the bread). And so im hopeing to put them up soon. any ways let me know what you think of this painting and it is up for sale. [link]

I absolutely love your use of colours here. You dare to use much ariance in that are, though you mostly stay in the natural palette. The colours really give the picture an unique mood - only critique here would be that it's so small. ^-^; I certainly would've liked to see more!

lol i know, i would love it to be bigger as well but i find it hard to scale things to start with. so at the mo im always starting out with a referance picture and then trace the basic out lines and then start painting. i can only get it as big as A4 unfortunatly
