Description
This is for my Capturing a Likeness assignment in Illustration. I drew Jeffrey Combs, and hey! It sort of looks like him.This is one of three. The other two are 1) lineart, which looks okay, and 2) shapes, which looks awful but a lot like Combs (if he were a robot).
Look out next week for the final Combs drawing! ZOMBIES!

Um, I've been practicing too, and all I can get him to look like is another, different pair of glasses, Jonathan Crane... T_T I'm ashamed of myself. Poor Jeffrey Combs.

It's tough. Likenesses are tough. I've done Gary Oldman, Robert Downey Jr., Wilson from House...the cast of Prison Break.
Like my Illustration teacher said, he's "very very white". Jeffrey has a weird looking face, but it's not particularly exaggerated. Therefore, he's a tough draw.

Agreed. Love that man to death, but his forehead is a biatch to get down. I always draw it too big or too small, that makes it look funny. I envy your amazing talent.

I had the most trouble with the lips, but I did pick a really weird facial expression.
Oh, and his chin. He has a weird boxy-but-round face, and I made his jawline a bit too defined.
