Name: Blue Berry

Backstory: Being the Twin brother of Cherry Berry it was often thought by non family members that he was more beloved of the twins. In reality, Blue was very sickly and fragile, such as his mother was, as a foal and had trouble just pulling an empty cart so he was given special attention for his health. He is actually the only pony of his family who was named not after a berry (on purpose) but was more so named for the color, he is good at growing fruit and berries but he is not bias to any. Blue stands for loyalty and calmness so his mother gave him the name in hopes he would be strong and true to himself. Turns out, his name fits him perfectly. After his mother died he and his sister were separated with him going to his grandfather. Five years later, when he discovered that Cherry was going to attempt to run their mother's farm on her own he immediately went to help her. By doing this he directly disobeyed an order of his grandfather, whom is the head of the family. When his grandfather confronted him about it all he said to him was "What's so wrong about following the name your beloved daughter gave to me?" He is very prideful of his cutie mark despite it being a bit girly. Each part means something special to him. The two blue berries represent him and his sister and the flower represents his mother and the vine bonds them.

Personality: Blue is calm, loyal and is level headed. Out of all his friends he is the most sensible and has the strongest common sense. However, sometimes he can lose his temper when he is either, faced with a problem that can't be resolved quickly, or, finds somepony made Cherry or his friends upset. He has a close bond with his twin sister and, since she looks so much like their mother, he can be overprotective of her. He has some trouble expressing himself sometimes since he tends to think more rationally than most and finds many issues a bit redundant. It is not unusual for him to ignore some pony... especially if he is already preoccupied with something else. Despite that however, he does generally care about his friends and family and does care for them a lot. He has a heart of gold and no pony that knows him will deny it; he just can be sarcastic sometimes. He acts sheepish around new activities but after trying them out once or twice he grows on them. He does get sick often but it is not as bad as it was when he was young.
