Description
A young girl by the name of Soul was taking a small trip to the Hoenn region. She was on the way to town, taking the forest route as usual, when she can hear a young man cussing to himself. Curious as to what someone was doing in such a place as this, Soul glanced around the trunk of the tree and was about to ask him what was going on when she happened to notice the wound on his hand.

A few minutes later after bandaging the boy's hand and short introductions, Rick being the stranger's name, Soul's eyes widen at the sight of his fallen Nuzleaf. The girl asked Rick what had killed his Pokemon. "Makuhita." was what he replied with, though a bit hesitantly. Soul cocked an eyebrow, for some reason not believing what he had said.

After some pressuring, Soul managed to get Rick to tell her the truth. At first she didn't know what she felt when the dark-haired brunette told her his story. About his mental illness. Was it fear? Pity? Or sadness. The boy was troubled. He reminded Soul of a loved one of hers. Unable to say anything, she simply went up to him and embraced him tightly.

Just a few seconds later, Soul started to blush, realizing what she had done. She jumped back and started waving her arms around. "I-it's not t-that I like you...!" she stuttered, her face madly red with embarrassment. Embarrassment? Or was it just love? Rick stood up, silent as the world around them. Again, Soul gave him another hug.

Whoops, I think I went overboard on this. But my gosh this took shorter than expected. Should I draw my comics this way from now on? Or would you rather I keep it the way it is, just more improved?
