Description
The SRS is owned by the NWR. Their role is to protect the island, they are like rail police. About 1 km before the Vicarstown Chanale bridge, there is a yard in the middle of the mainline. That yard is owned by the military and SRS; all goods trains that come to Sodor must stop, to be checked for dangerous material. The trains are diverted to the yard's warehouse where all containers and box vans are opened and checked. There is also the yard for the engines that serve the SRS, right next to the warehouse, there is a yard for rollingstock, and a small shed with 4 engine spaces. The yard has a turntable too. All engines wear the ROD because the SRS was founded as a legacy of the ROD.

The engines that stay in the yard and stop the passing goods trains are:
1. Brendan-- brings the goods trains in;
2. Jeoffrey-- supplies from the mainland;
6. Charles-- brings the workers from Vicarstown;
7. Little copper-- shunter.

The rest of the engines are located on the island Harbours.
3. Anica-- Knapford & Titmouth Harbours
4. Josh-- Brendam Docks
5. Eva-- Arsdale Harbour
These engines inspect the goods, to ensure safety.
