Christmas gift for BECAUSE I COULDN'T WAIT AND I DIDN'T COMPLETELY FINISH TODAY'S!I also want to note this picture completely changed my perspective on backgrounds. I used little reference besides general ideas for this picture, and it's totally influenced my future/newer pieces. I am now trying to do what I didn't before, and that's create interesting, colorful, and unique backgrounds like I've always wanted to. 2016 shall be the year of backgrounds.
I also really love the song referenced in the title, whether it fits or not.

The backgrounds stay amazing, I think the next step for you is to try to get texture on the coat of horses because i think you can make them even more alive if you texture that as well instead of only the special things like the mane and tail. I don't know if i'm correct but isn't the coat of a horse made of very tiny hairs?

I've been trying to work with texture lately, I actually started really trying to incorporate it with your giraffe picture. So definitely working on that, but I'm also trying to find brushes that help with that.
