Description
I decided to test weathering on Valkrie. I am not expert in that and ofc I added way too much rust and other thing. Let's say it will be a bit wrecked ValkyrieRelated content

Yup, a bit too much rust but still - it looks quite real to me. I can't wait for your diorama with it (love dioramas^^)

I will be blunt, if some vehicle is that much rusted it is beyond use , the places that would be appropriate to use rust on are engineΒ exhausts ends(because on tanks they are not made of tin plate) and rust streaks coming from the rivets.
Dont use rust on anything else because these metals are galvanised and if they are even slightly rusted that means they have rotten and unavailable for use.
There are two options for this model if you ask me, 1st, wreck it and make it look like a downed and long abondoned valkyrie in a dioroma.
2. strip all the paint and start over again.

I was testing how to make rust and other weathering because I never done it before. I also think that I overreacted with all:/ It look like it was wrecked. And you are 100% right that I should use rust in completely other places. But I will leave it like that, make diorama, and put it there. But I will also play this model sometimes in battles For the nest time I will use all advices ppl gave me and will make much more realistic -looking model

Looking good - try to draw the weathering toward the rear of the wing. Imagine the air flowing over the wing in flight so dirt and damage would start off heavy on the wings leading edge then thin out towards the rear. Use watered down black ink to shade the panel lines/recesses too.
Well done for being brave enough to do the weathering. It is common to see far too many clean finishes that are just not "realistic".
looking forward to more photos

But with next vehicle I will make it as it should be
