Description
This my Valkyrie that my amazing girlfriend got me for Christmas this year. (I KNOW AWESOME GIFT!) So I wanted to work very hard and paint it to the best of my ability for her and here is the fruit of my labors. I am quite happy with how it turned out. On that note I know there are no weapons on the weeks that's because I am going to be ordering the Lascannons from Forge World to make the Valkyrie a Vendetta so until i get some more money this is how its going to stay.Comments appreciated !

Love it! My wife really loves the look of the Valkyiers and thats my next planed buy. In fact, I wouldn't mind getting a few and doing nothing but an airborne force, but it'd cost me. lol Great work by the way!

Thank you so much! Your wife has good taste. Valkyries are really neat I have had the fortune of playing a game recently where a friend used one and it was quite the force to be reckoned with. I can only imagine the terror an airborne force would rain down on the enemies of the Imperium. But again thanks for the nice comments

Your welcome! I was thinking of something around 1000-1500 points, 3-4 valks with Straken and 2-3 vets with plasma, carapace and demolitions. Yeah, that'd tear anything up!

I have the door gunners I am thinking of adding them. But for now I like how it looks and I want to see if when I get the Lascannons from forgeworld if it will take away from the look of the Valkyrie or not. And that fleet of Valkyries definitely sounds like it would kick some series butt!

When I start collecting the vendettas I'll likely use the door gunners for vet sarges or something, I love their armor. As for the gunners, like I said it's worth it for only 10 points, it adds a nice anti-infantry bonus well dropping off your troops. And thanks, I figured a nice vendetta assault to the enemies rear would work rather well. Not to mention, valks and vendettas are cheap at 130 points each, with that speed and fire power, no army should be without atleast one.

I know! Seriously with Valkyries and Vendettas it kind of makes the Chimara which only has a multilaser at best seem almost a poor choice when you could have a Flyer with more room for movement options. I will greatly consider the adding of my gunners to the Valkyrie for only 10 points why not
