With Sonic heroes now released in the UK I decided to do this special piece to celebrate, I've heard how people where dissapointed in Tails and Knuckles having no super forms in the game. Yeah I know Tails isn't a Hyper, but well Team Super only had one.Related content

THIS is what we should've had in Sonic Heroes in the final battle with Metal Overlord! Not that cop-out bullshit with Super Sonic carrying Tails and Knuckles like they're not good enough to have super forms. That was the first Sonic game where I felt gyp'd, and I was piss-diddly-issed!

Actually, tails has a super form and a hyper form, hyper is when he's got the flickies, and super is when he doesn't.

I hope the Super Emeralds and the hyper forms (or Super for Tails) are brought back in Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II and Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode III.

Knuckles had a Super Form and then a Hyper Form once he gained the powers of both the 7 Chaos and Super Emeralds plus the pulse of the Master Emerald.

They changed it to super knuckles, and Tails has a Hyper form. It's only featured in the comics 1 time though.

Well think of it this way; in order for Tails to have a Hyper form, he would be successful in gaining a Super form. However, he can't transform with the Chaos Emeralds alone (plus 50+ rings) like Sonic, Knuckles & the other 2 hedgehogs. He needs the C.Es. to transform into the Super Emeralds just to give him that boost. Why is that? Well my guess (a common theory) is that Tails is simply too young to harness the C.E. powers alone like the others (also stays close continuity to S2 since he couldn't transform then either, which makes his transformation title reasonable) & thus needing the extra kick.

Exactly. That's why he is one of the best f*****g form in the entire series - Who wouldn't want the Super Flickie Army of Death? That enough sure as hell makes Tails the underdog of the game!
