Someone asked in a comment How I attach the nails to the paws of the dragon. I've made this to show exactly how!

1. Cut toes into the paw
2. Carefully smooth the edges made by the cuts, to make fingers

3. Roll small balls of clay into points for the nails

4. Squish the points onto the fingers

5. Gently smooth down the sides of the nails, pushing them into the fingers

6. On the palm of the claw, smooth a bit more if you like the claws to be a bit rounded

7. Add ridges to the top of the nails (if wanted) by pinching the clay atop the claw

8. Gently sharpen up the nail points

They usually stick, unless the clay is too dry.
