I chose mixed media for my final piece, where the solidity of bright coloured strings juxtaposes against the subtlety of water colour. Here, the theme of grid comes across more clearly, inspired by the idea of fishnet wrapped around the body.
The manipulation of string comes from Chiharu Shiota's artworks, whilst the dominating red shade is influenced Piet Mondrian's primary colour palette.
