I found a quote that has echoes in several different artists.
you have to get the bad drawings out so the good one can start to surface. so perhaps all your to you pointless sketchbook drawings is emptying that "bad Drawing hopper" so you can get the brilliant ones out more easily.

thanks a lot! yeah, whenever i start feeling nagging words of doubt about my art or sketches, i often fling them into my sketchbook... where they begin to look rediculous.

I always wanted to do a retrospective of my sketchbook
online as if it were a gallery show
called "ten thousand iterations of the word 'blah'"

Comment 'post-favourite' I know, but the piece catches my understanding on something of an unspoken level...so originally I at least wanted to give an indication that I appreciate the idea, even if articulating exactly how beyond 'a degree of empathy' is a little difficult.
But I would like to say, after coming back to this a little while later, that there's just something so fittingly precarious and uncomfortable about your mannequin-esque figure that compliments the awkward statements of the text perfectly.
One question: is that writing on the topmost orange block, and if so would you tell me what it says? Curious!

thanks for your comments!!
to understand this on an unspoken level - well if you have ever had doubts about your art, thats what it is. i just twisted those doubts and made it slightly humerous, or just ... more visible.
The writing on the top block is only emulating text. its really just nonsense scribbles.
