Sketch Commission for HexidextrousArtist Comment: For those of you that don't know, this OC is Hexidextrous' Magical Girl OC Ayara Jo! She has a ton of cool
abilities, but her main one is to detach herself into segments and use her body parts as projectiles! I'm sure Hex can give a much better explanation!
Anyways, his sketch commission was for Jo to simply be on the bed relaxed and all detached while waving hi to the audience! XD
This commission was pretty challenging in my opinion. Figuring out a layout and different perspectives for each individual body part
was hard. As always this is good practice!

I'm glad it was good practice for you. Well she doesn't just use them as projectiles, she also uses it for quick dodging (i.e. splitting at the head to avoid an incoming attack aimed at her head), and other times to try and attack from two places at once. However, she has to remember to keep them in the 100M range of her Soul Gem (which is how she does it).
Some of Jo's attacks were inspired by characters such as Plok, Nadia Fortune, Buggy, Bryce Boltzmann, and Monsoon.
I could imagine Rika walking in to see her friend like this, then Jo asking for Rika to come snuggle up against her limbs, or pick up and cuddle her head.
Oh, and look at who's peeking out from behind the pillow.

The biggest benefit of being modular: no need to worry about finding a comfortable position when you're lying in bed. Just scatter and relax.
