I've had this imaginary girl stuck in my head for a week, like an addictive song . So I said to her "you don't belong in here, dear. Please get out of my head and onto my screen." Apparently, she was reluctant, because it took a lot of effort to get her on the page.I used Opencanvas to sketch this and to set up the basic lighting and color scheme. And then I had some trouble figuring out how the light would hit near her eyes, so I looked up some b&w photos of Christina Aguilera and Adriana Lima to help with that area. I used Painter 7 to refine the skintones and Photoshop for most of the detailing.

Her eyes... so angry, so accusing, so... hurt. Wow, I see a lot of emotion in this peice, it really connects. Good job on the green lighting, it's tough to get skin tones to look natural and have odd-colour tints in them.

Great work with shades and illumination. Especially the "lip gloss" effect and the "glowing" around her eyes are very succeeded. Her expression looks kinda different. On the one hand her mouth seems to say that everything is in good order and condition, but on the other ones the wet look of her eyes reveal a soft sadness. But besides this you did an excellent job on the techniqual side. The 3-dimensional look is stunning and the realism in proportion and lighting is just perfect.

I really do love the ethnic appreal of your characters. However, it does seem that her bottom lip is perhaps slightly oversized...or maybe her mouth is slightly ajar. Irregradless, she is striking in appeaparance. wonderfully colored and highlighted.

I love her eyes the anger in her face her hair is perfect ..only thing i would say is maybe the ears should be darker let them recess and get less attention but I'm sure I only noticed that cause I was staring glaring PEEERING at it because wow minix ...le WOW

the striking symmetry in this adds somethin really neat, but what really gets her kickin are the colors man, awesome awesome colors!! wunnerfly detailed and just enough, as always. shes awesome!

The colours and highlights strike your eyes, making you say "wow!". Then you discover the rest of the great details (hair, eyes...) and its beauty constrast heavily with her angry face. She must have been very happy in your head... all I can see in her pretty eyes is anger and desires of getting back inside.

very good...it has a nice realistic feel to it, as though its a photo, but with a paintingly-good qualities and it she has an unusual facial expression when it comes to drawings and such...they are usually happy or something, and well, she is not...and from reading your comment on the piece her expression mirrors what you were saying about her not wanting to go on the screen and wanting to stay in your head.
Anyway, thanks for the comment on my gallery, and I think that your are very talented...so keep it up

wow the emotion in hew face is so intence it hurts to look at her. It reminds me of how I felt the day A gut I was dating told me he had a girl friend that lived in cali that planed to moveto kc and stay in the dorm so she could be with him. He told me that when she got there I could not talk to him anymore or even call him but untill then we could still continue to be together.
Boy did I want to punch him and cry all at the say time. I had this rage build up in me so intense I couldn't do anything but cry.
That is what she reminds me of. I love the way you did her hair and then echoed the green in the back groung with the green in her eyes. The image has the sort of on edge to it. Tention and anticipation.
Reminds me of an eryka bad u song and something she sang.
" Mt eyes are green, cause I eat alot of vegatables. It don't have nothing to do with your new friend."
I feel like the girl in this image is speaking with her eyes.
