Thanks to *iony for the inspiration for the color scheme.I did this mostly in opencanvas, and then finished it in Painter 7. I was playing in oc, and it worked out to be more than just a doodle. I like how the skintones turned out with the greenish lighting.

you can always tell when it's a painting by minix. very unique style. awesome painting, btw. a lot of emotion in it. nice work.

Interesting peice. Great use of light and dark. The angular composition really does it for me. I don't know if this is intentional but you have carried the eye shape motif through out the peice in layers. The way the hair falls around the face is like looking into an eye then into another eye. This in conjunction with the light and dark contrast creates depth making it a very successful peice in my opinion. Keep it up. I Look forward to your next deviation.
