ModFor Raster's birthday chapters.
Kind of a mix between two styles that I like to use (dollish and realistic). Done freehand in Photoshop 6.0. The reference photo was this one of model Trish Goff: [link] I've done a walk-through for an airbrush piece similar to style of this one for Raster, it's in the InFocus section there. (thanks for the correction ~midsummerstorm )

i disagree with an earlier comment that the eyes are too big. that's the minix style which i think adds character to your work.
the hair is done so nicely. i can tell you put some time into this one.

Master of portraits, Czar of design! You have once again graced us with a wonderful masterpiece! Her eyes and her hair are the two portions of this piece that stand out the most to me. You must have put quite a bit of work into each of them. I also really like the cute round nose and the ultra-sexy round head. *oooh!*

This is great! I have a book with this picture in it, and I was browsing through the new deviations and it just popped out at me. It's one of my favorite pictures in the book (a Kevin Aucoin makeup book...makeup fascinates me ^_^). Excellent work!

Maybe some color on her lips would look better, spicing up the image (the hair, flesh tone and background are a bit "simmilar").

i really like this peice. my only criticism is the length of her neck and the smallness of her face. Clearly her face is much bigger in the original photograph. nonetheless..great job!
