I play a Satyr in a LARP I do. It's delightful. But a little warm in the summertime.Everything here was made by me including
The fur legs
The hooves
The bikini and detachable sleeves
The boffer lute

When I first saw this picture I was like, "Please tell me that the lute is a boffer weapon!" Yes! That is outstanding.

Haha, the boffer lute was one of my first boffer weapons. It's survived the test of time! It still passes weapon inspections 5 years later... a pretty good lifespan for a "weapon" made from couch foam and tape! :-P

Thank you so much. The legs in that picture were my first version. I have since made 3 additional versions for this particular satyr. The one I use currently is made from foam instead of stuffing for the volume. Thanks for calling 'em "epic". :-P

Nice! (Holy craps though, real fur legs? That's dedication!) I too play a satyr at a LARP. It's MUCH too hot here in the summertime to do full fur legs, though. I cheat with long skirts and half-legs.

Looks good. I like the fur legs and hooves. Really pulls of the satyr look well. The way they are padded gives them a digigrade look.

The lute-as-a-weapon is a wonderful touch, I've seen cricket bats, frying pans and rolling-pins as weapons.
