Description
As I won't have time for any new works before around the middle of next month, I thought I would submit this little experimental painting for you guys to fill the gap. ~Enjoy ^_^About the smudginess on the right side of the picture: I thought the ink was water-proof. Apparently is wasn't.

I wouldn't call it gruesome.
I think it's very neat and beautiful.
Sure, it's not as bright and colorful as her digital work, but it's beautiful in it's own way.

"Gruesome" means horribly repugnant, grisly, or causing distress. Mayhaps the word you were looking for was "grim?"

I don't still understand. I think the atmosphere of this is very light, crisp and clear.

I think what the person means is that it gives them a dark feel, like with the black cat and the thousands of ravens/crows surrounding, since both of those can be seen as a symbol of something dark. The picture itself also has a lightly dark tone to it as well, as if foggy.
I do believe this is the reason for their word choice. ^^- Though I think "grim" probably would've been a better way to explain it.
