Description As I won't have time for any new works before around the middle of next month, I thought I would submit this little experimental painting for you guys to fill the gap. ~Enjoy ^_^

About the smudginess on the right side of the picture: I thought the ink was water-proof. Apparently is wasn't.

-Watercolors and black ink, A3 watercolorpaper-

I wouldn't have noticed the smudged part if you wouldn't say that D: But it's a really wonderful piece C:

OH thats so cool!

I really like the colors of the sky and the buildings. And the intricate inking is amazing!

How dark and gruesome.

I wouldn't call it gruesome.

I think it's very neat and beautiful.

Sure, it's not as bright and colorful as her digital work, but it's beautiful in it's own way.

I mean the atmosphere of this art, that's how I described it, but in a good way though. ^_^

"Gruesome" means horribly repugnant, grisly, or causing distress. Mayhaps the word you were looking for was "grim?"

I don't still understand. I think the atmosphere of this is very light, crisp and clear.

I think what the person means is that it gives them a dark feel, like with the black cat and the thousands of ravens/crows surrounding, since both of those can be seen as a symbol of something dark. The picture itself also has a lightly dark tone to it as well, as if foggy.
I do believe this is the reason for their word choice. ^^- Though I think "grim" probably would've been a better way to explain it.
