Description
SEE PART 1 HERE: [link]So this is the rest of the lengthy Trixie tutorial I did yesterday. As of now, sculpting a pony will take me about an hour, and painting/glazing will take another hour at best. Don't worry about taking too much time! Time is effort, and it'll show ^^
Again, here's the amazon link to the tools I was using if you want some of your own: [link]
Ask any questions you need! I know my instructions are far from perfect haha.
MATERIALS:
Trixie/Hat/Cloak = Fimo polymer clay, soft
Eyes/Stars = Acrylic paint (folkart in this case), 20/0 brush
Glaze = Varathane polyurethane interior varnish, water-based

This is great, thank you SO much for posting this! I've got two left hooves, and I never do anything crafts-related, but I may actually give this a try now.

Oh my goodness...IT'S FREAKING BEAUTIFUL! You even made me want to make one. Maybe if I find time and money (which I hope will happen)

You make the process look pretty easy. (I know it probably isn't, but still.) This was very helpful; thank you for making it.

For cutie mark crusaders, you just make them a lot smaller right? The anatomy seems the same, just smaller everything.

If making them in proportion with Trixie, then yes they're much smaller. The head to body ratio will be a lot bigger and their legs are shorter as well

You could technically do all the same things with white clay, you'd just have to paint over it afterwards

Yeah, I made a clay figure of Vinyl Scratch not too long ago, the only problem with paint is that I don't have steady hands so the paint gets everywhere ]:<

I zoom in, so I can see it, but its really extremely blurry then, so I cant make it out at all!

Ok, it worked the second time! I love working with clay, so I might try this out sometime! great job on the ones you've done! They are amazing! Too bad I cant enter licensed characters into the annual art contest my homeschool association holds each year.
