Description obviously enough another ID, to go with my brand new avatar.

I'm having fun with the new digital camera. Procrastination at its best.

it's a close-up of my soprano saxophone, just in case that's not obvious. Getting my face to appear without the camera in front of it took a few goes though

yeah, I play the tenor as well - that's what I started on. But I always wanted the soprano

I've never been a huge fan of alto saxes, though the sop is definitely fun. Music is awesome...and I really would go insane without my piano. I was just stopping by to say hello.

Worth all the trouble, it's a very creative way to get your face into it! I still haven't done my ID yet, will need to do a self portrait and I'm procrastinating on that...

I like having fun with all forms of art, though I certainly don't consider myself a visual artist. when I'm procrastinating writing, (and not actually playing music) this is what I get up to

That's cool though. Anything goes back into the writing, and photography helps with perception and description in many of the same ways as visual art.

I can appreciate music but am not in any sense a musician. lol

You play soprano sax? Niiiiiiiiiiice.
I used to play the flute. ....many was the time I wished it were an alto sax instead. (Or better yet, a bass drum...*sigh*)

yeah. I started off on the alto sax because the soprano is not a good idea for a beginner. The alto has a great sound too. But I always wanted to play the soprano. When I came to China I couldn't bring my sax (I had 20kg to play with on the plane).

So I bought a soprano sax in China. As I don't have access to a piano, the sax keeps me sane
