this is a really cool concept and it seems quite believableΒ
but now i can't stop imagining the feeling of my own teeth grinding against rough material to make sparks and it hurts

They should also get dizzy after breathing fire because they run out of breath. I think that the gas comes from food -- just like methane comes from cows. I remember there was a documentary that made a hypothetical guess on how animals can breathe fire, which is really cool. Haha it's just something I want to share XD

I know there is also a bug that uses pyrochloric compounds, which is what my dragon uses.

Sounds cool. Is it a type of chemical found in rocks? That's what I heard about it
So your dragon uses some kind of magic?

Nice!
By the way, did you see the documentary "Dragons: A Fantasy Made Real"? I think it spells out the fire-breathing process in a similar way.Β

Rocks? Think rockETS. Though he does use magic for other things, his fire is basically two compounds that burn in the presence of each other, which is the same thing as some rocket fuels. SpaceX's Dragon capsule uses this type of system for its thrusters as one example.

This is really sick! Seems like you really thought out the mechanics of breathing fire for Krest
