Description
How I think the dragons in Skyrim were able to write. There is proof that they have a written language, one that they scratched out with their claws in stone or clay. (It's relevant to my Skyrim fanfic, the Dragon War [link] )My first uploaded attempt at digital art. I learned a lot (including that I need to do better lineart -- it was so bad I had to get rid of it once the picture was colored. Now it doesn't look quite as good. Oh well). I had way too much fun drawing the feet, and I'm really happy with the way they turned out, especially on the writing dragon.
Flaws: the biggest is probably the confusing stuff going on with the wing of the writing dragon. What I had intended was for the wing to be transparent so I could show off the legs, otherwise they would be completely hidden and all my hard work would be for naught, plus it would defeat the purpose of this piece of art. Other than that, there are random blank spots where the lineart was; a few coloring issues; and the fact that the dragon's chest grows a point when he starts writing. I thought about fixing it, but I didn't. Too late now . . .

They could write with the finger on their wings, i imagine that would be more convenient.

How come Pharthurnaax managed to make a word of power with the use of his voice? also, if you want to learn more about what the language was used for, it is a book called "Dragon language Myth no more" that can be found around in Skyrim.

i think it looks great without the line art, and the point in the dragons chest is just where the top of the ribcage is. if you think about it, as they lift their upper bodies, the muscles would shift back a bit, making a sharper angle between the ribcage and the neck. humans and other animals would make a similar angle, though not as pronounced. with dragons, its sharper because of the size of the ribcage needed to support the massive flying muscles.

Poor Skyrim Dragons, it would have been easier if you had four legs not two, silly wyvens

The concept is awesome, and the text is hilarious. As for the artwork, for your first digital art I think you did a great job.

I wish I could say yes, but I'm terrible at it, myself. I can do a fair photomanip, but I can't draw for squat.
