I just found all the 6" Avengers figures last night and felt compelled to make this today.

I wanted to recreate the movie poster, but obviously with the figures in place of the actors.

The first thing I had to do was find a hi-res version of the poster online. I then pasted it into photoshop.

The next step was photographing my figures. I placed each one in front of my green screen, posing them exactly as they were on the poster, and even going so far as to light them similarly (if the actor on the poster was light from the top-left, that's where I'd place the main light). I wanted to be as faithful as possible.

After that I cut them out of their individual photos and pasted them into the poster in the appropriate spots.

And then I painted over the actors in the poster so it would only look like the figures were in the image. This was kinda tough, trying to fill in blanks in the background to cover up the actors, but it really helps sell the image.

Some liberties had to be taken, such as Hawkeye wearing his shades, Tony Stark wearing his, Cap having his cowl on, and Black Widow being a comic book figure.

Hasbro hasn't made a 6" movie Black Widow yet, but if they do, then I'll update the poster with her included.
