Utamuro was born into a poor family, but they never saw themselves that way really. They live life to the fullest and as best as they could. In their childhood, they hated to watch their family struggle to even put food on the table. Under the wing of some older kids, they learned how to steal and pickpocket. They weren’t proud of it, but it helped, somewhat. Their parents never even found out.

They kept up their crime streak up to their teen years, getting into all kinds of trouble. Of course, they never did it out of malice, only need. They came to enjoy the thrill of thievery and secrecy, barely balancing that tightrope between that life and their family finding out. But one day that all changed for the better when it got bad. Distant relatives had invited Utamuro’s family over to the US, and so, they got lost after deciding to explore the town a bit, while trying to find the way back to their relatives home after taking the wrong turn somewhere, they found themselves in an empty street. They were tired and honestly a bit scared, it was dark and there was barely any light. And that’s when their face met the hard ground below with a swift kick sweeping them off their feet. It was all so blurry to them, but then like ice a sharp pain tore through their arm. And then it stopped, and they couldnt see through their darkening vision. There were sounds of fighting and struggling, and then, silence. They remember a face, picking them up as they blacked out. Their eyes opened, and it was cold and white. A hospital? Where was their arm..?

Fast forward a few years, and now they were graduating community college. Their family was so proud and he was too. They had plans to move out after school, and with the help of an old friend, they managed to get enough to move into Kai Apartments, it was cute and silent and it was all they needed to get a fresh start in life.

They don’t see anything bad in that, which makes some people see them as too carefree with their actions and words. They also tend to be a bit superstitious and not really question stuff much. He depends on people that are kind to them, sometimes a bit too much where they really don’t know how to act alone.
