I've been tinkering with this for a while and if I don't post it now I'll never do it.. lol.. Not gonna lie this was a bit of a bitch to make but I could't let the idea go and I'm glad I stuck to it.. I like it
Quick note, yes I am aware of the fact that I'm missing a few products.. I skipped first and second generation consoles completely and just went from generation three up to eight. Keep in mind that this is more of a pice of art then an 100% accurate history tree of gaming consoles

CakeDojo, I think you deserve to know the history of gaming. The NES actually led up to the existance of every console that followed. The video game crash of 1983 left Atari in ruins. After Nintendo picked up the pieces, rival companies followed. Other than that, this is an accurate chart. I don't want to sound like a stupid gaming nut, I just like PS3, Xbox, and Wii fans to know their roots.

You forgot to draw a line from the Super nes to the playstation1. (cause yes, that's where they stole the blueprints)

Then Nintendo got revenge by taking the "controller with a screen" patents. this was countered by the Playstation Move copying the Wii Remote. Now Nintendo is waiting to strike again! So, in the "Console Wars" Nintendo and Sony are the real enemies!

Don't you know the origins of the ps1 ? Sony was hired by nintendo to make a cd drive to plug under the super nes, project name "play station" (2 words) , then sony broke the deal and left with their almost finished product and sold it under their name. Google it for full details.
