This moment. Just... This. Moment. All our obsessing over Kanan made us miss all the character growth Ezra here went through, it wasn't until he reunited with Ahsoka that we realized just how far he'd come, and... this... moment. Like, every lesson Kanan ever taught him, every kindness Hera ever showed him, the bond with Sabine and the support from Zeb, it all built up to THIS KRIFFING MOMENT and I JUST...
I had to capture it. Just looking at the thumbnail of this makes me happy - I FINALLY understand the shapes of his face (ish), I had no idea that the shape of his eyes were so great and I finally have his hair look right. This is only like the second or third time I've done his jacket but I understand the lines of it pretty well now andΒ I so want to see Sabine and Ahsoka find him...!
The only real weak point is the glass - you can see my timidity there and how insecure I felt in trying to capture it. They get a blue effect to hide how terrible they are - they are only just rising, after all - and in a thumbnail it doesn't look too bad, but then you zoom in and...
As always, let me know what you think!

Glass can be a pain, with the way light refracts from it. But personally, it appears more of like a depth of field effect to me, the way they're blurred and adds a bit to the emotion of this image. As for the rest of the piece, it's very clean and smooth right down to the lighting and shading. I'm loving the detail put into his hair strands and eyebrows, as they do a good job of bringing the image together. The flyaway's, though smaller details, add to this as well. Overall, I'd say this is an amazing piece, keep it up!

Cool work!Β Yeah first Palpatine had his INNOCENT FACE on in trying to trick & deceive Ezra (just as he did Anakin) but he did NOT give into it!And wherever he took Thrawn in the end...at least the rebellion didn't have to deal with HIM anymore during the original trilogy!Β But now it's AFTER THAT when Sabine finally goes to search for EzraΒ

You actually capture this scene and the emotion in it very well indeed. Ezra went through so much character growth in the last season of Rebels, especially after the death of Kanan, that all came to a head in the final battle with Thrawn and his confrontation with Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious.
In the latter especially he proved himself to be a true Jedi by resisting the Sith Masters temptation, something that Anakin Skywalker could never have done.

Thank you so much for the kind comment! He really did sober up after Kanan's sacrifice, and it was a wonder to behold. What a great Jedi he turned into!

The glass would be a bit difficult...perhaps if there were clearly defined edges on certain points of the closest ones? It actually doesn't look bad. You capture the lighting very well, and more importantly, the emotion.
