Contest 16 - The Clone Wars Series
The stand our character from the Clone Wars series was Ahsoka - she was so amazing that they even put her (and Rex) in Rebels, and I wanted to show how one affected the other for the contest. As put-together as Ahsoka is in Rebels, and as much as she accepts herself, she has to have moments of reflection of that one worst memory of her life - no matter how much good spawned of it.
... is it cheating that Rebels Ahsoka is in there...? Hope not. And so we have the image of Ahsoka leaving the temple as an older Ahsoka reflect on that decision.
Of the two, I like CW Ahsoka better, her profile is strong and all the proportions are correct, the colors match well and I like the little bit of reflected light on her montrals of the older Ahsoka. Rebels Ahsoka is... like she should be great but she's not. Something about the side of her face is off and it's hard to tell what it is... Is her notes not straight? Is the shape of her cheek off? The size of the eyes? Not sure what it is...
What I like: Color palette, proportions on CW Ahsoka, the sky
What I don't like: Rebel Ahsoka's face/cheek, Rebel Ahsoka not having as much of a background.

This is actully good, Ahsoka looking back at her past and wondering what would have happend if she hadn´t left the jedi order, thinking all what she could have done to make order 66 less terrible and probaly if she could have help on avoiding Anakin to turn into Vader
It makes a lot of questions about her as a character, luckyly Vader didnt killed her and we´re gonna get to see more of her
The way you made the picture really fit her and show her the way she is, a very deep and sympathic character, i really think you´re gonna be a good artist

I really like this picture. What Rebels-era Ahsoka must be feeling at times is really well captured…
Perhaps what's bothering you is indeed the cheek, yes. Not sure if it's a matter of shadowing, or the face markings not making the shadowing in that bit noticeable enough? For what is worth, though, I think Ahsoka's face in Rebels should've been wider than what they made it be. Yours might be closer to the Clone Wars version that what we ended up getting…
