D'aw, that looks she's giving looks mischievous but the cuteness that she has while doing it is hard to resist. I love how this is done with the effects in here. There is the blur in the back with the background that has the focus on Chrysalis and then the clearness of her wings with how it's done is so great. I love the crisp clearness of her wings and the look of that. Her mane and look aw <3Β

Beautiful art as always. I love the layers of focus and the translucence effects.
I'm curious, though: is this kind of picture with such a limited color palette harder than other pictures, or is it all about the same? I know you specialize in choosing color palettes to evoke certain feelings or themes, so maybe this isn't as different for you as it might seem to a non-artist like me?
