Finally a full body pic!I started this about a year ago as a double page spread in my sketchbook. But recently desided to put a lot of effort into finishing it. So I'd say it's refined.
I attempted to remove the line where the binding was so it may look a little funny.

Wow... simply staggering...
I wonder... you mention in another post that this being (or ones simular to him) live in the same world (and swamp) as Mina...
Now, as animals are usually only brightly marked because their poisinous, I'm going to guess that this is the case?
If not, well, who knows how the laws of nature work on an alien world. How big is a Noc'lore compared to mina? Are they solitary hunters or pack? Are they like Gators and ambush? If so, how do they hide?
I'm assuming that they, like mina, are amphimbians... (I feel sorry for whoever has to brush that hair out!
If you ever write stories/comocs with these chara, will you have a segment where they're forced to leave the moist enviorment they're used to and the plot turns into a race against time to get moist enough to breath?
Other then that...
WONDERFUL balance of color and placement... Once again, a body that I could see working, especially in a swamp... well, maybe not in the 'Glades, but mangrove swamps or the like would work

Woah! A gecko-salamander-dragon-mammal thing? I like bright colors, and I love geckos, so I really think this one's pretty neat.

now that I think about it, this sort of reminds me of a character in one of the Serendipity books by uhhhhh... steve keller and robin james? ((forgot their names)) it was called Kiyomi or something, it was about the most beautiful deer who met up with the most beautiful fire lizard and they began fighting over who was really the most beautiful of the two ((which was a hard decision for me to make on my own since deer are my favourite animals, but the lizard looked so friggin cool)) and in the end they both imploded for all I can remember, but yeah.
...random thought.

The coloration and body form are fantastic. I love how you made the hair separate and fall very naturally. She looks like she'd be very smooth to the touch, like a salamander, only not slimy. ^..^

The main IS a little outlandish, your right.
To tell you the truth, "druggie" dragon is sortof what I'm going for. In the story in my mind, her race breaths a, kind of, laughing gas that confuses people. When confrunted by the main character she used this to play tricks on him.
Think the catapillar crossed with the cheshire cat in Alice and wonderland.
