Description
The preliminary sketch for a painting I'd like to do. But, I don't want to put it in the sketches section.
The robot was drawn in ballpoint pen and the background was added later with pencil.
EDIT: Photoshoped to add extra value.

The organic curves are very exciting, especially juxtaposed with the unnatural smoothness of the robot's features. I really like the suggestion of circuitry in the background. I didn't even notice it at first glance, but it adds a lot to the feel of the drawing.

That's really.. Spiffy. Everything looks so logical, so real - it's just not a ROBOT, it's a robot which could veyr possible excist. Looks so graceful and elegant, maybe also peaceful - and so SHINY. x3 Your tecnique is simply adorable, so smooth and so detailed. Excellent job - I really think you should do a painting of this one, because if this is a SKETCH - how lovely wouldn't the finished product be?
