Whoa. Wow. There are few images that hit me right in the feels, but this did. Not sure if my feelings about it are the same as yours, but they were pretty strong - I saw young me, chained and weighted down by society and two parents who were products of that society, with only an electronic device and my imagination to connect me to the strange, some might say monstrous, entities that I considered (and still consider) friends and family. Seeming cold and emotionless to the people around me, but full of colors inside.
