Description This was supposed to be the kiriban for 3k hit, then it became 3.5k hit, then 4k hit, and now it's officially 4989 hit.

Fire is probably one of the most complex objects I've drawn so far, and since I had decided to use no effects or other tools whatsoever beside digital brushes and eraser, the process was literally painful. But transferring the beauty and dynamic nature of a living flame into static drawing was indeed interesting.

Started out with the darkest red, then worked my way up to the brightest yellow, putting more details as I went. It's basically a heap of layers put on top one another.
