That's awesome, I normally work pretty small when I did worked with ink. No more than around 4x6 inches.

I think the biggest ink drawings I did is on a few 11x17s which are some of my more recent ones. And my smallest was a 4x6 which is my part of my current ID right now. But I do like working big so I can get better detail in the eyes.

I tend to work small just because of detail, I have an ink drawing I want to complete but it was from a live session so I don't know where to take it from where I started...

You certainly do a good line in critters. This guy kind of reminds me of that Komodo Dragon at the zoo... man, I loved that dragon when I was a kid. No-one could drag me away from the dragon enclosure until I was good and ready

Nice detail with the facial fur 
Am I right in guessing he may be a carnivore? The sharp "beak" and long, narrow head kind of suggest it, as well as it's large, sharp eye
