Seriously though, Snape = awesome character. And Snarry = so disgusting I can't help but love it.

I love snarry, but most Fanfics dont seem to give me any valid points on how they could come to feel this way. I found one once on FFnet and it was ove 64 chapters long. Snape and Harry hated each other and throughout the story the author put them through a series of events and hard times that they slowly started to ...get along..in a way. it was deffinatly a love/hate pairing and thats why i love it. this pairing really makes you think on how your going to go about things i hate the writers that make snape suddenly cuddly and all happy. -.-

You're right, it is a difficult pairing that needs to be explained properly. Otherwise it's just...not believable, obviously.
That's why I like this fic. They still pretty much hate each other but end up having no choice to fall in love because of their bond. It's pretty funny in a way.

^^ yeah im reading it now so far i like this concept. have you ever heard of the severitus type fanfic? it spins on a what if james wasnt harrys real father. what if.. because severus liked lily...harry was snapes child. and snape did. or did not know. of ffnet there is a few stories that actually seem believable.

Well, I like the art anyway ! Actually at first I really couldn't consider Snarry fanfiction, but since I only read really good stories (I prefer quality over quantity) it grew on me ^^

xD Yeah. A lot of Snarry is absolute drivel--but then that holds true for most fanfiction--however, some of it is absolutely fascinating. Especially when Snape's supposed attraction to Harry (and Harry's attraction to Snape) is believably explained.

I totally agree. There are waaay too many crappy fanfictions with crappy romances. Down fangirls down ! Let the adults write believable stuff. I'm having a blast at the moment with "Fate is a Four Letter Word" by Philo on hpfandom. Her fanfics are glorious.

Mmm. Although even some fanfiction written by adults can be ghastly. The real gems are far too rare, alas. But I guess that makes us/me appreciate them all the more.
I'm trying to find a Snarry fic as epic and long as Telanu's Tea Series. xD But I'm having a hard time getting into most fics recommended.

Trials and tribulations. Work, work, work. Writing stuff is easy, that's 10% of it, but the 90% lef is the work that must be put into that.
I might have read Telanu's series, I'm not sure... I really suggest Philo's work to you, she's very good in her plots. "Fate is a Four Letter Word" has me sitting on the edge of my seat every chapter avery week. She posts regularly which is a blessing ! She has two stories, both are Snarrys. "Apple Tree" is set during Harry's Hogwarts years, "Fate" is set in the next generation era after book 7 with the only change that Snape survived, although everyone thinks he's dead.
The only thing I can say is, try the first chapters, you'll be sucked in !
