Description
I'm glad to finally stick a fork in this one.I started this as practice for coloring , shading and lighting. That is why its less colorful then my usual stuff. I did enjoy it as i learned some new things. It didn't come out how i intended but i tried my best and now i know my weaknesses.
I know what i need to get better at so hopefully i can take a stab at something like this again later in the future.
Feel free to comment on what ever.
I need to get better, so anything is welcome and appreciated!

The trunk started out just as black then i painted rows of light blue going up, then i took the black and agian and parted the rows. It was fun and easy! .... unlike the leaves...

We're cool so I know that you won't ever take offense to anything I say, and It would defeat the nature of a critique to be nothing but agreeable. so I'll just say stuff, and I hope that you will reciprocate-
Wings are usually pretty frikk'n sweet. I would have (if I had your skill set) spent some more time on the wings than anything else, not so much as detail (because you've got that down) but more towards their positioning/placement. There's so much that can be done with wings that it is hard to come up with something definite and so playing around with that can make a big difference.

That's amazing! Great textures in here, awesome details on the wings and the tree. I think you did a great job on the background, the leaves and bark of the tree as well as the stones on the ground are so nicely textured. Also, I like that the grass on either side is different colored! Awesome work, keep it up!!
