And here it is! The picture of our favorite derp horse.She was really awesome to draw. I'm kinda sad to be done with it.
Now, you can probably notice it looks different from my other portraits. That's because I decided to completely change the way I draw characters. While my previous way wasn't bad, there was only so much I could do with it. So I guess you could call it going step forward.
So yeah, hope it's an improvement.
Also it's a lil' experiment for me. I noticed at some point that derpy is almost like an automatic success on DA so I want to see how much more views will it get compared to my other works.

What really shines through in this piece is the realism, starting with the lighting. I would totally believe that Derpy’s head would cast that exact shadow on her neck. Then we have the eyes, which are given so much texture. The iris is detailed in the precise way that an iris would look. Don’t get me started on the hair. I feel like I can actually stroke my hand through every strand of hair. In addition, I’m glad that you didn’t crop the back of her mane like you did in “For Me of Course! – Prince Blueblood’s portrait”. Speaking of cropping, I would recommend extending the left half of the picture a little further as my first criticism. The edge appears to be too close to the ends of her hair. Another criticism I would make is that the background color doesn’t match. Rather than green, I would use grey. Not would it be a better color to represent the mood of confusion, but it would also match the color of Derpy! But other than that, this is a pretty decent piece. It incredibly detailed, and you can’t help but chuckle as you observe Depry wonder where her precious muffin went! Overall, I like it. Keep up the great work, MisiekPL!

This portrait is 3 months old and a lot of problems you mentioned isn't that much of a problem today.
Don't get me wrong. I'm happy for every critique I get but they're not too usefull for self-improvement.

Sooooo. It hasn't been a day and this picture got more views then my other portraits of other characters got in a week.
I think I can call my experiment a succes. Derpy is just too cute for the internet
