Being in a state of Yakeen when asking from Allah

"I have no power save to knock at Thy door,

Repentance, awareness of God, and uprightness are the foundations of all that is beneficial. Know that repentance is a key, God consciousness (taqwa) is vast, and uprightness is the source of rectification. [Shaykh Ahmad al Zarruq]

What has he lost who has found You (O Allah), and what has he found who has lost You (O Allah). [Ibn AtaIllah]
