Great picture, tones and composition are very good. The way shadows and highlights work is amazing. It has also power to confuse brain, if you know what i mean. Really impressive.

I really do love how dark this is. Makes the eye peaking out from behind it all stand out so much...and it should. Then you follow the curved line down the side of the face, on to the hand. *bravo

other cultures always fascinate me... I was trying to combime two things, the catholic rosary and the muslim veil, that you wouldnt necessary associate together and make them the two powerful elements of the photo. and i think they can exist harmoniously together!

Now, that's something i've noticed after looking "carefuly" to the photo. That's a very consistent way of exporing the theme.
Then, i'll have to make you think about something, if you allow me... As an American, do you think your country (or at least your country's government) is in a way, responsible, at these times, for that increasing lack of harmony between both those two cultures?
P.S.: I'm not judging your country and neither i'm trying to blame the U.S.A. for that situation. In 1500, portuguese discoverers killed lots of brazilian natives when Brazil was discovered by Portugal, and i don't blame the portuguese people for that...

Great detailing. The black and white complements the simple layout and lines of this piece. The inclusion of the rosery add a lot of interest. The eye is done so well. It really is the window to the soul. Nice work here.
