Uploading a higher resolution of my iris drawing to more closely represent it as it is now seen in the gallery section of June's 2013 issue of...COLORED PENCIL MAGAZINE!
Totally blew me away when I was contacted out of the blue by Sally Ford. I never saw it coming as I've never submitted any of my work to any publication of any kind.

Prismacolor pencils, eraser, colorless blender, tortillion, q-tips, solvent pen, and matte sealers. Mi-Tientes 9" x 12" black paper.

Thanks! I got lucky with the photo I took of mom's iris to use as reference. I haven't managed a photo that good since. I've always admired your skill and your eye for photography my friend....who swears he's not an artist....you are you know. Hugs!
