Some of you may have probably heard of those awful Poopie Slime Surprise unicorn toys. You know, those toy unicorns that are dressed as toddlers in diapers who also wear stuff toddlers shouldn't be wearing like crop tops and piercings, and they poop slime. And the whole entire franchise is based around poop and has a wretched theme song that is possibly the worst song I've ever heard in my life. Seriously, who thought this was a good idea? Who looked at those toys and said "Yeah, that's a good idea! This is a perfect idea for a kid's toy and will definitely go over well with the parents!" Were they HIGH?

*ahem* Anyway, I saw this post on Sketch-Shepherd's Tumblr art blog where she redesigned them as unicorn witches that make slime in cauldrons and come with cute animal companions. I loved the concept so much that I of course HAD to draw some fanart of it. This is my design for a character her post mentioned named Simmer. I'm really satisfied with the warm colors I gave her and her little dragon companion (Which I imagine would be named "Sizzle" or something like that).
