Description messages on facebook walls
to friends no longer alive

chemical dependency
and voices
in electricity

why can't i believe
people leave

with us gone, traffic lights
would still change
on empty streets

windshields cracking

sitting in your room
the sixth hour
waiting for sleep

wanting to put your heart
in someone else's chest
to speak into them
the meanings of red
known only to you

trying to cry
your face remains
the surface
of a lake
still

praying under your breath
computer light
and moon light
cracks in your skin

rain in a spiderweb

going nowhere
because nowhere
is enough

This is too good. I wish I had written this. Along with the previous of your poems I read. No need to be insecure, rather to walk with head high and a smug grin!

saw the title, thought it would be one of those post postmodern things (which i love,) was mistaken, still enjoyed it.
anyways the connection between the title and the poem isn't clear until you read the description so maybe you could tweak that
please don't delete this because

trying to cry
your face remains
the surface
of a lake
still

and other wonderful things. and lindsay lohan. if i were you i'd keep lindsay lohan in there somewhere anyway
