Description
A statement that is ironic to illustrate with Dororo alongside it, he being a hardworking ninja and all. Had seen this on T-shirts and whatnot before way back, and thought it would be funny to doodle a parody of it. really? Those are hard for me for some reason. Then again, I never really studied metal before so I wouldn't know where the lights or shades go XD lol

Ah, a good exercise to practice drawing metal or reflective objects like that is to practice sketching glass objects in real life using either pencil or charcoal. I took an art class once a few years back and our teacher had us do that for a little while toward the first few sessions of it. It really helped me wrap my head around the concept better. ^v^

Yeah, I think toned paper is used in some of the figure drawing classes at my school and we use white charcoal to add highlights.

Ah, awesome! We had a similar assignment like that once in an art class I was in where we did the same, but with drawing glass bottles from life to practice shading and highlights with charcoal.

Haha, thank you so much! Yeah, I guess I just unclogged something that had been blocking up my art channels in the past, and now the river of ink is a-flowing. And this isn't even ALL that I have been doing lately, I still have quite a few works in progress, so I guess I really have been drawing a lot more as of late. >v<'' Thank you so much!
