I've heard that the Fairy type was too broken and needed a nerf.

A lot of people said that this type should be strong to the fairy type or this type should be immune to this type.

I say, if I were to nerf it, the best type to be strong against it and resisting it too should be the rock type. I say this one, because it actually make sense in the context of real life lore.

According to lore, salts, crystals and gemstones repel spirits. And we know the closest thing to those is the rock type, like how steel type is the closest thing to cold iron.

I say, fairy being weak to steel, poison and now rock sounds good to me.

So, let's say this nerf is actually applied in the game, how would that affect the current meta? Would that fix the fairy and be finally balanced?
