The Flash isn't a character I know much about outside of his portrayal on Justice League, and I'm more familiar with Wally West than Barry Allen. However seeing as Barry Allen is the current Flash I went with him instead. In designing this I just kept a really fast guy in mind noSeeing as Barry Allen is a scientist I figured he'd be practical about his costume once he gained his powers.
- Goggles to protect his eyes at high speeds
- A form fitting costume which protects him at high speeds and regulates body heat.
- The yellow gloves were added just to visually accentuate his hand movements (never been a fan of the traditional flash gloves).
- The yellow piping was added just to connect the various elements.
-No costume ring: The Fastest man alive can change in the blink of an eye in my opinion
I know not much of a redesign but the Flash costume doesn't need much done so that's my attempt. I was mainly experimenting with colouring technique.

Okay, unlike the too-busy Jim Lee costumes, you really make the piping work here. The contrasting colors are part of it, but you kept them clean, accentyuating the lines of the costume and the sleekness of speed and motion that should always be part of The Flash.

APPROVE! The only thing I have to say is that the costume ring (while REALLY OBVIOUS A FLASH-RELATED ITEM 'CAUSE THERE'S A HUGE LIGHTNING BOLT ON IT) helps him keep his costume hidden away, although I get what you're saying about his ability to change quickly.
Once again, your redesigns are totally kickass!

Anyway! I just wanted to say I prefer Wally West as Flash, and when I looked at this, I originally thought you were mixing his Kid Flash costume with his Flash costume, which I thought was really cool!
Still very cool as Barry, and I like your explanation of his costume choices!

That will most probably come later, I've been racking my brain trying to figure a design out. Could be B for Batgirl or Blue Beetle for all I know....
